Upon entering JP’s, it’s dark with no windows, some decent sports memorabilia with a long bar, booths and several tables in between. It’s not the best atmosphere I’ve seen, but somehow the crowd of happy people made it seem warmer. I was greeted and given a bowl of hot, fresh popcorn and ordered a Michelob Ultra. (The beer and wine selection are minimal at best).
While it’s not fancy- in any way, it is exceptionally clean and would lend itself to parties of 4 at a booth comfortably. It says they are “kid friendly” but I see mostly regulars, with an average age of patrons in their late 60’s.
